A380 Aluminum alloy --Die Casting Material
>>Chemical Element Composition:
The A380 is close to the Japanese standard ADC10, which is Al-Si-Cu alloy with high silicon content.
Si(%) | Cu(%) | Mg(%) | Fe(%) | Zn(%) | Mn(%) | Ni(%) | Sn(%) | Al(%) |
7.5-9.5 | 3.0-4.0 | ≤0.1 | ≤1.3 | ≤3.0 | ≤0.5 | ≤0.5 | ≤0.35 | margin |
>>Mechanical Property:
The following data are the mechanical properties of raw materials under experimental conditions. The mechanical properties of die-casting parts are subject to actual measurements.
Tensile Strength Mpa | Yeild Strength Mpa | Hardness HB | Elongation % |
290 | 160 | 80 | 3.5 |
>>Material Characteristics:
1.A380 aluminum alloy is the most common special aluminum alloy, because it integrates the characteristics of easy casting, easy machining, and good heat conduction.
2.A380 aluminum alloy has strong displacement, pressure bearing, and high temperature splitting resistance.
3. Although the A380 has always been considered easy to machine, it is slightly rough due to its high silicon content.
>>Application:
The A380 aluminum alloy is used in a wide range of products, including the chassis of motor equipment, engine mounts, gearboxes, furniture, generators and hand tools.
